We work together with Experience Excellence Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, to expand our reach and find those in need.

At Wayfinder, making a difference is in our blood. It is who we are! This past fall our team had the powerful opportunity to come together in Tacoma, Washington and make an impact at Next Chapter. Next Chapter is an organization caring for and housing single mothers experiencing homelessness. We rolled up our sleeves, worked side by side, and made a tangible difference in the lives of those around us by building a brand-new playground, thoughtfully designing beautiful gathering spaces for families and executing a large-scale reroofing project which totaled about $75,000. It was more than just a service project; it was a testament to the power of teamwork and the joy of contributing to something bigger than ourselves.
Help Make an ImpactWayfinder along with our clients were able to generously donate $19,338.50 to Apartment Life and $19,338.50 to Next Chapter These donations contribute to building stronger, more resilient, and connected communities. The donation will help enhance the living experience within apartment complexes, support resident services, help fund community events, improve resident retention, provide crisis support if needed, enhance properties appeal to help keep retention and encourage residents to get involved within their community. The monetary donation will help further Next Chapter’s mission to offer more than just temporary shelter. They provide safe housing, case management, and essential services such as education, job training, and mental health support. Next Chapter’s approach ensures that each person receives the tailored support they need to rebuild their lives and our donation is a testament to our collective commitment to making a last positive impact within our community. We are truly humbled we are in the position to help these beautiful women and their children gain confidence and get the support they need to have better lives! We feel honored to support both of these organizations.

Their efforts focus on creating a better community by addressing critical needs such as education, financial stability, health, housing and homelessness. Backpacks for the Hopi Reservation is an initiative that supports the educational needs of children on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona, by providing them with essential school supplies. Wayfinder along with our wonderful clients were able to donate $346 in the form of backpacks loaded with supplies, to help ensure that these children have the tools they need to succeed academically, promoting education and empowerment within the community.
Help Make an ImpactWinter Storm Uri, which hit Texas in February 2021, was an unpredicted event that brought extreme cold, ice, and snow to a region unaccustomed to such conditions. The storm caused widespread power outages, water shortages, and food supply disruptions. Wayfinder and its clients recognized the urgent need for immediate support and sprang into action! Wayfinder quickly coordinated with local suppliers and volunteers to gather food in Arizona. They then secured a refrigerated truck to load up $10,000 worth of food and drove them to Midland, Texas themselves. After navigating the icy roads- they were able to arrive at Weidner’s office in Midland. Together with the local Weidner team, we packed 300 boxes of food for distribution to the many residents in need. Wayfinder recognized the need and wanted to support the community they love and serve! Our love and appreciation for all of the Weidner folks involved that made an idea of support into a reality for many. Thank you!

Wayfiner and our amazing clients have done it again! The National Adoption Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting adoptive families and children in need of permanent, loving homes and we were able to donate $604 to their organization. Their vision is a world where every child has the opportunity to grow up in a loving, supportive environment, free from the uncertainty and instability of the foster care system. Together, our efforts are fueling this mission. To us, it’s more than just a donation, it’s a promise of brighter futures, changing lives and creating families!

Donating to organizations like Feed My Staring Children fosters the spirit of giving, and helping those in need, and at Wayfinder that is the core of who we are.

This donation came at an important time as Covid-19 lockdowns and government restrictions limited the resources available to Next Chapter.

Wayfinder, in collaboration with many of its clients, took part in Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). FMSC is dedicated to ending child hunger by providing nutritious meals to children in need around the globe. The organization works with volunteers to pack meals that are scientifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of malnourished children. On August 2, 2018, Wayfinder was able to make a donation of $5,000. This contribution will provide about 10,950 meals to ensure many children receive the essential nutrition they need to grow and thrive! Child hunger is a critical issue affecting millions of children worldwide. By supporting Feed My Starving Children, Wayfinder and its clients are playing a vital role in the fight against child hunger. Their efforts help provide hope and sustenance for children who might otherwise go without. Participating in such events not only makes a difference in the lives of those who are impacted by this, but also allows us to contribute to something bigger than ourselves. Wayfinder remains committed to abundantly blessing those around us as we continue to build relationships with those in our communities and look for ways to serve and make a lasting positive impact.
